Dispatcher

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced virtual dispatcher to join our team at Squires Towing, a leading tow truck company. The virtual dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the timely and safe dispatch of tow trucks to service calls and ensuring excellent customer service for our clients from a remote location.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming calls for service and dispatch tow trucks to the location from a remote location
Communicate effectively with tow truck drivers, customers, and other team members via phone, email, and other communication channels
Ensure that all service calls are handled in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain accurate records of all dispatches, including tow truck location and customer information using our dispatch software
Monitor tow truck drivers’ progress to ensure timely arrival at the service location
Provide excellent customer service to clients and handle any complaints or concerns in a professional manner
Keep the team informed of any changes in the schedule, traffic delays, or other relevant information
Operate dispatch software, and telephones virtually
Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
Excellent English speaking skills
At least 2 years of experience in dispatching or a related field

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced virtual environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to use our dispatch software proficiently
Proficiency in computer systems including but not limited to Quickbooks
Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays from a remote location
Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations virtually
Reliable internet connection and a suitable work-from-home setup
