Job Description

We are looking for a hard-working, self-motivated team member to join our managed services provider (MSP) as an Administrative Assistant and Dispatcher. This is an essential, full-time position on our team, and we intend our relationship to be long-term if the candidate is a good cultural fit. The team member will need a working Windows PC and reliable internet connection to apply for and join the team, and will need to be available to work from 08:00am—5:00pm US Pacific Time (UTC –8).

About us

We are a California based MSP who works mostly with small and medium businesses to deliver top-quality network and software support. Our team is a small but growing team of devoted professionals who are passionate about technology and customer service. Our day-to-day operations involve heavy use of Microsoft 365 (Office) and a specialized database program (used widely in our industry) called ConnectWise. Our services are provided rapidly, with constant contact between the team and the dispatcher, and between the dispatcher and clients.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a dedicated and hard-working person to
1) manage and direct service requests (manage projects and communicate directly and clearly with rest of company),
2) interact politely and effectively with clients and callers (customer service skills),
3) maintain schedules for engineers and coordinate onsite visits (experience with complex scheduling and business interactions),
4) deliver reliable information and support to engineers (some technical knowledge of PC software and hardware is a plus),
5) manage procurement and track incoming shipping to our decentralized warehouse (strong organizational skills),
6) support operations and administration by creating daily, weekly, and impromptu reports (good Microsoft 365, Excel skills).
7) (most importantly) maintain a high level of professionalism and ambition through continual learning and growth with the job and its processes.

The ideal candidate will have

1) a high-level of education and excellent English language skills (possibly a university degree)—please include a recording of yourself reading these six points as an mp3 or similar audio file
2) a desire to be a positive member of a growing team
3) attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; show this attention to detail by mentioning “no robots” at the top of your response to this posting
4) patience and empathy for users who are having problems
5) provable skill with productivity software (Microsoft 365)
6) desire to problem solve, improve efficiency, and take on new tasks.
