We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Django Python Vue Developer to join our dynamic development team part time. As a part time member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing RentDuck’s (Click to view), features, integrating Google Maps API, and working with XML feeds to provide an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain RentDuck’s web application using Django, Python, and Click to view.
Enhance RentDuck’s location-based features by seamlessly integrating the powerful functionalities of Google Maps API.
Work with XML feeds to process, transform, and integrate data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on rental listings.
Implement intuitive user interfaces and efficient backend functionalities using Django, Python, and Click to view.
Write clean, well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure RentDuck’s optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with RentDuck’s vision.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and industry trends to continuously improve RentDuck.

Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Django, Python, and Click to view, with at least 5 years of professional experience in web development.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and modern web development principles.
Experience working with Google Maps API and integrating location-based services within web applications.
Familiarity with XML feeds and the ability to parse, process, and integrate XML data into web applications.
Proficient understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of database systems, particularly PostgreSQL, MySql and experience in writing optimized queries.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
