Bundyplus is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Protection Officer (DPO) to join our team in a remote work capacity. As a Remote DPO at Bundyplus, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our data management practices. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage data protection measures, with a focus on ISO 27001 standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. ISO 27001 Compliance: Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the ISO 27001 information security management system within the organization.
2. Data Protection: Ensure the company’s compliance with data protection regulations, including but not limited to GDPR and CCPA.
3. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
4. Data Privacy Policies: Develop, implement, and update data privacy policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations.
5. Training and Awareness: Promote data protection awareness across the organization and conduct training sessions for employees.
6. Incident Response: Develop and maintain an incident response plan to address data breaches and security incidents promptly.
7. Vendor Management: Evaluate and ensure the security of third-party vendors who have access to company data.
8. Documentation:** Maintain comprehensive records of data protection activities, including risk assessments, policies, and incident reports.
**Qualifications:**
– Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role, preferably in a remote work setting.
– Strong knowledge and experience in ISO 27001 standards and implementation.
– Excellent understanding of data protection regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
– Proactive problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
– Strong ethics and a commitment to data privacy and security.
