Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SolidWorks Draftsman to join our engineering team. As a SolidWorks Draftsman, you will play a critical role in transforming conceptual designs and ideas into precise and accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks software. Your expertise in drafting and modeling will contribute to the successful development and implementation of various engineering projects, ensuring their adherence to industry standards and design specifications.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to interpret sketches, blueprints, and technical specifications, translating them into comprehensive CAD models and drawings. Your proficiency in SolidWorks will be essential in creating detailed layouts, assemblies, and part drawings that facilitate the manufacturing process and support effective project communication. The ideal candidate possesses a strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality and accurate designs that contribute to the overall success of our engineering projects.

Job Description
• Utilize SolidWorks software to create 3D technical drawings, including part and assembly drawings, sheet metal designs, and detailed layouts.
• Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings
• Creating checklist and BOMS
• Updating from marked-up drawings.
• Nesting of dxf’s and creating PDF
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret engineering concepts and design requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness in the drafted models and drawings.
• Perform design modifications and updates as necessary, addressing feedback from engineers and stakeholders while maintaining version control and documentation integrity.
• Conduct thorough reviews of CAD models and drawings to identify and resolve potential design issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to provide detailed production drawings and assembly instructions that support efficient manufacturing processes.
• Stay current with the latest SolidWorks features, tools, and best practices, sharing knowledge and assisting team members to enhance overall drafting capabilities.

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years with Solidworks
• Knowledge and experience in Solidworks
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Drafter
• Maintain great attention to details
• Ability to identify the process, design improvements, and actively participate in solutions.
