SUMMARY

You will work on various drafting tasks and ensure accurate and timely results. Current drafters are exercising independent judgment and self-development with minimal direction from the Drafting Team Leader. Architectural drafters will be creating drawings of structural features and window installation designs. Elevation drafters will turn quoted project windows into shop drawings by adjusting automatically pre-drafted CAD files. You will be welcome to share your ideas and take the initiatives to realize professional eagerness. Willingness to retrain and learn new CAD software is essential to satisfy the company’s expansion and personal growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSABILITIES

Creating shop drawings by established company standards from quotes to support the flawless manufacturing process and project management.
Creating window/door installation details according to existing architectural conditions and client’s demands. At the same time, apply the best practices to assure that INTUS products are structurally integrated and resistant to water/air leakage.
Communicating closely with Estimating and Product Development departments to maintain the highest information quality and precision in the drawings.
Taking responsibility for your shop drawing project timelines in the ERP system.
Weekly work on development tasks of personal growth and department improvements at ZOHO projects.
Professionally representing the INTUS brand by embodying our culture when communicating internally with your teammates and externally with our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least one year of experience in drafting.
Experience with AutoCAD for at least one year and preferably Inventor or SolidWorks.
Ability to understand architectural and structural drawings.
Ability to analyze situations, solve problems and make decisions with minimal direction.
Detail orientated, punctual, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Expressed team player qualities: humble, hungry, people smart.
Demonstrates customer-centric, positive, and professional can-do attitude.
General English language proficiency.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with 3D software like Inventor, Revit, Solid Works, and others would be an advantage.
Expertise in CAD programming and new automation practices.
Previous experience related to windows or facades manufacturing.
Knowledge of storefront, curtainwall, and glazing systems.
