Job Responsibilities:
– Create accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and maps based on data collected by our land surveyors
– Utilise computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce precise survey drawings and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
– Collaborate with surveyors and team members to understand project specifications and incorporate design changes as needed.
– Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings.
– Organise and maintain project files, drawings, and related documentation.
– Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices for drafting techniques.
– Follow company standards and protocols to ensure consistency and quality in all deliverables.

Requirements:
– Diploma or degree in drafting or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Draftsperson, preferably in the surveying or engineering industry.
– Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software – AutoCAD
– Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
– Knowledge of surveying principles and practices is a plus.
– Familiarity with GIS software and applications is an advantage.
– Strong organisational and time management skills.
– Effective communication skills – a good command of the English language and good writing skills;
– Self-motivated and able to work effectively without close supervision;
