As a Dispute Specialist, your primary role is to manage customer disputes, chargebacks, and related issues, ensuring a positive customer experience and safeguarding our company’s interests.
Responsibilities:
*Customer Dispute Resolution:
– Investigate and resolve customer disputes and complaints related to orders, products, and services.
– Collaborate with customer support and fulfillment teams to gather relevant information for dispute resolution.
*Chargeback Management:
– Manage the end-to-end chargeback process, including investigation, response preparation, and submission to relevant payment processors.
– Monitor chargeback trends and identify opportunities for process improvement to minimize future disputes.
*Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain detailed records of dispute resolutions and chargeback cases.
– Generate regular reports to analyze dispute trends, identify root causes, and propose preventive measures.
*Communication:
– Communicate effectively with customers, payment processors, and internal teams to provide updates on dispute resolutions and gather necessary information.
– Work closely with the customer support team to ensure consistent and accurate communication with customers.
*Policy Development:
– Contribute to the development and improvement of company policies related to customer disputes and chargebacks.
– Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to dispute resolution.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in dispute resolution, preferably in an e-commerce or Shopify environment. With proven experience handling paypal disputes, klarna disputes, etc is highly required.
– Familiarity with Shopify platform and its features.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Knowledge of payment processing and chargeback procedures.
– Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
