Dual Role Bookkeeper/Administrator | Full-time | Virtual | Australian Based Accounting Practice

Salary: Between 48,000- 55,000 Pesos per month (depending on Experience)

Experience: Ideally the candidate would have experience with Australian Based Accounting firms with Bookkeeping experience and VA type experience of 2 years +

Training: The successful person will be provided with in-depth training and potential for career development available.

Hours: Contractor based arrangement hours will be 7:00AM to 4:00PM (PHP time) MON- FRIDAY with flexibility within reason (Holidays aligned to Australia with additional Philippine holidays agreed to)

Location: The candidate will be working from home

Start Date: Flexible, or as soon as possible.

Job Summary

As this is a dual role, no two days will be the same it’s an exciting opportunity to really own your role and work with an amazing team.

Task Experience (Highly desirable)

Managing clients bookkeeping in Xero live files and ledger files
Preparation of Business Activity Statements
Lodgement of income tax returns and activity statements via Xero tax.
Preparation of ASIC annual statements via corporate compliance software and corporate compliance management i.e. ASIC forms, new company trust establishment and general follow ups.
Management of workflow in XPM.
Set up of jobs and management in XPM.
Reviewing ATO correspondence and sending to necessary contacts.
Navigating and submitting ATO portal queries, payment arrangements & extension request.
Managing client debtors via Xero.
Documenting procedures via online video and written instructions to assist new staffers.
Collating end of year financial documentation packages for clients.
Preparing signage document packages via online signing program.
Software Exposure

Experience Xero Tax Package including Xero Practice Manager (XPM), Xero Accounting (Blue Xero).
Experience with a corporate compliance software i.e. Now Infinity, CAS 360, or ASIC edge
Experience with the Australian Tax Agent Portal including advanced comprehension of ATO correspondence, ATO online communication functions & reporting.
