E-commerce Accountant

Job Title: E-commerce Accountant

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented E-commerce Accountant to join our team at Intrinsically Safe Store. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations related to our E-commerce platform. This includes maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our E-commerce platform, including transaction processing, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into our financial performance.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to E-commerce sales, customer acquisition costs, and profitability, and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to develop and execute financial plans and budgets for our E-commerce business.
Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
Identify areas for process improvement and automation to streamline financial operations and increase efficiency.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to E-commerce accounting and financial management.

Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on E-commerce or retail accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero, and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Knowledge of E-commerce platforms and digital marketing metrics is a plus.
