Conquest Maps is looking for an accomplished Freelance E-Commerce Graphic Designer to add to our growing team. If you have at least 3 years’ experience designing a wide variety of graphical assets for digital and print media, we’d like to get to know you.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The E-Commerce Graphic Designer is responsible for creating on-brand graphics that attract and engage our target audiences, for placement in digital (and occasionally non-digital) channels. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Take direction from the creative director and digital marketing manager to design emails, social posts, advertisements, website banners, logos, icons, product inserts, etc. for placement on website(s), email blasts, Facebook, Instagram and other social channels, and in print media.
– Process images in appropriate formats for each channel.
– Create graphic images and design layouts that communicate the company’s brand and elicit the appropriate emotions among target audiences.
– Create fresh, on-brand graphics to keep the website up-to-date.
– Follow brand guidelines as they pertain to images, typography and layouts while implementing creativity to further develop the brand.
SKILLS REQUIRED
– Proven ability to translate written and verbal concepts into graphic content.
– Keen eye for aesthetics and details.
– Skillful with graphic design software and technologies (such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
– Deep understanding of layouts, graphic fundamentals, and typography in both digital and print media.
– Deep understanding of graphic creation needs for a variety of channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, email, website, Etsy, Amazon, and more.
– Proven ability to efficiently work autonomously and meet deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS
– Minimum 3 years’ experience designing a wide variety of graphical assets for digital and print.
– Proven ability to tell brand stories through graphic imagery as demonstrated by a robust portfolio.
– Background or education in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design or related field.
– Experience in D2C Ecommerce preferred.
