E-commerce Inventory Planner +$500 SOB

We are looking for an E-commerce Inventory Planner for our growth marketing team. This teammate extracts and converts data sets from e-commerce platforms to create reports for inventory planning and management, sales forecasting/projections, and ad hoc reporting. Furthermore, data investigation, insights, and recommendations will also be provided by this teammate promptly, ensuring the report’s accuracy.

The Role

Pull and convert data (at scale) to create “apples to apples” comparisons (i.e., single units vs. bundles) using MS Excel or Google Sheets
Set up pricing sheets for promotions based on given directions
Export inventory and sales data from Netsuite and Shopify
Aggregate historical data as directed by the Director of Planning to aid in sales forecasting/projections
Data manipulation (i.e., sorting, scrubbing, tagging, cleaning, de-duping)
Provide daily / weekly / monthly reporting on various data sets
Validate and troubleshoot existing and new reports to ensure data’s accuracy and logic
Perform other ad-hoc data analysis tasks as needed

The Requirements

3+ years of experience in complex data analysis is a must-have
Must have proficient to advanced skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets (can do advanced formulas and functions like lookups, if/then, pivot tables, sum if, etc.)
Must have experience in NetSuite, Shopify, and other similar tools/platforms
Demonstrated ability to generate ad-hoc reports and dashboards from scratch is a must-have
Should have worked in the e-commerce industry and been exposed to extensive inventory planning and management
Experience working with start-up companies is strongly preferred
Preferably with experience in Finance, Strategy Supply Chain, or Business Operations stakeholders
Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools is nice to have
Intermediate to advanced SQL scripting experience (Big Query or similar dialect/language) is nice to have
Familiarity with Gmail and Slack for internal communication
Should have meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work fast and pull/sort/convert data at scale quickly and without error
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Must have worked in the graveyard/night shift schedule in the last 6 months following any timezone in the US
