Job Summary
The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online stores on Shopify. This role involves a blend of product management, content creation, SEO, and Pinterest management. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with a strong background in e-commerce, digital marketing, and creative content development.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
– Upload new products to HelloContent and HobbyScool stores.
– Create highly clickable images and videos to describe the products.
– Develop SEO-friendly titles and descriptions for all products.
Content Creation
– Create Pinterest images and schedule them to our Pinterest account.
– Write and publish weekly blog posts to promote key products.
Marketing and Sales
– Plan and execute monthly flash sales, including creating and scheduling email campaigns.
– Select a product to highlight for the weekly newsletter and create compelling copy.
– Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
– Utilize various Shopify apps to implement upsells, downsells, and cross-sells to maximize revenue.
– Collect and manage customer testimonials and reviews to enhance product credibility and drive sales.
Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements
– Proven experience as an E-Commerce Manager or similar role in a retail environment.
– Proficiency with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms.
– Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and Pinterest management.
– Excellent writing and editing skills for creating product descriptions, blog posts, and marketing copy.
– Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) to create engaging visuals.
– Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve sales and customer engagement.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
