Simplified Objective:
Optimize marketing spend and lead channel/category growth.
Key Metrics:
– Conversion Rate (CVR)
– Add-to-Cart Percentage (ATC %)
– Units Per Order (UPO)
– Email/SMS Capture
– Development Timeline
Key Responsibilities:
– Enhance Online Store Usability: Improve the usability and effectiveness of our online store.
– Manage daily & monthly reporting dashboards to facilitate a greater understanding of online store performance, and assist in sharing insights with key stakeholders
– Boost Conversion Metrics: Increase conversion rate, UPO, and retention metrics across all business areas.
– Manage Development: Oversee developers to improve website speed, user experience (UX), and overall performance.
– Optimize 3rd Party Apps: Research, implement, and optimize third-party applications; analyze ROI and renegotiate rates as necessary.
– Inspect Website Elements: Review landing pages, product information, checkout options, and other website-related systems to ensure visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
– Configure Payment & Promotions: Ensure correct configuration of payment options and promotional tabs.
– Product Merchandising: Optimize product merchandising to maximize conversion and sell-through.
– Customer Reviews: Upload and analyze customer product reviews.
– Sales Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to forecast future sales and stock requirements.
– Pulling daily revenue & engagement metrics on active running tests
– Use analytics, metrics, and various technologies/tools to analyze campaign results, successes, and KPIs
– Traffic Analysis: Utilize Google Analytics to analyze website traffic, optimize customer experience, and reduce customer drop-offs.
– A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing of new and existing site features and content with internal developers.
– SEO Collaboration: Collaborate with SEO specialists to boost the online presence of our website.
– Returns Monitoring: Liaise with Customer Service and Logistics teams to monitor and analyze returns.
– Sales Reporting: Prepare and present online sales reports by brand and country.
– Promotional Calendar Development: Work closely with the Paid Media Manager to develop promotional calendars, including discounts, gifts with purchase, and free shipping offers.
– Consumer Insights: Provide insights and feedback on end consumer demographics to department heads.
– Trend Research: Stay informed about current e-commerce design trends and competitor activities.
Software/Platforms/Tools:
– Shopify
– Google Analytics
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
– Minimum 5 years of freelancing experience
– Proven experience in e-commerce management.
– Strong understanding of web analytics and KPIs.
– Proficient in Google Analytics and other analytical tools
– Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel
– Excellent project management skills.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Reporting:
– Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Shift Schedule:
– Working hours for PST
