Position Overview:
Here at craftitems in the UK, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Part-Time Customer Service Advisor to join our team and provide exceptional support to our valued clients. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in handling inquiries from clients who use our platforms on eBay, Etsy, and our website. Your excellent written English skills, combined with your strong internet connection and personal computer, will enable you to effectively communicate and assist our clients. Regular communication with our team through WhatsApp or Zoom will be essential to ensure seamless collaboration.

Responsibilities:
– Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, concerns, and requests via various communication channels, including email, eBay messages, Etsy conversations, and website contact forms.
– Provide accurate and helpful information regarding products, orders, shipping, returns, and other relevant inquiries.
– Maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and policies to offer effective solutions and recommendations to clients.
– Manage and resolve client complaints in a calm and empathetic manner, aiming for swift and satisfactory resolution.
– Collaborate closely with team members to share insights, gather information, and provide updates on client interactions.
– Monitor eBay and Etsy platforms for incoming messages and maintain a consistent response rate and time.
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes by identifying recurring issues and proposing solutions.
– Stay updated on industry trends, client preferences, and platform changes to better assist clients.

Qualifications:
– Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
– Prior experience in customer service, preferably in an e-commerce or online retail environment, is a plus although not essential
– Proficiency in using eBay and Etsy messaging systems and familiarity with website contact forms.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to address client concerns effectively.
– Empathetic and patient demeanor when dealing with clients, especially in challenging situations.
– Reliable and strong internet connection to ensure seamless communication and responsiveness.
– Own computer with updated software and hardware required for efficient remote work.
– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet response rate and time expectations.
– Proficiency in using WhatsApp and Zoom for regular communication and collaboration.
– Attention to detail and accuracy in recording client interactions and information in the CRM system.

Schedule
This is a part-time position requiring 10 hours per week. The schedule can be flexible, but extended availability during peak client hours may be necessary.
