Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive E-commerce Product Sourcing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying profitable e-commerce products, utilizing various sourcing apps and tools, and seamlessly integrating these products into our e-commerce store. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for trending products, and the ability to optimize our product catalog for success.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Research:
Conduct thorough research to identify trending and profitable e-commerce products.
Use market research tools and e-commerce platforms to analyze product demand, competition, and pricing trends.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and consumer preferences to make informed product sourcing decisions.

App Familiarity:
Be proficient in using various e-commerce product sourcing apps and platforms, such as AliExpress, Oberlo, SaleHoo, and Amazon Seller Central.
Identify new and emerging apps or tools that can enhance the product sourcing process and provide recommendations to the team.

Supplier Communication:
Contact and communicate with potential suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and shipping arrangements.
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of high-quality products.

Inventory Management:
Upload and manage product listings on our e-commerce store, including product descriptions, images, and pricing.
Monitor inventory levels, update stock availability, and remove discontinued or out-of-stock items promptly.

Quality Assurance:
Conduct quality checks on sourced products to ensure they meet our standards for quality and reliability.
Address any product-related issues promptly and work with suppliers to resolve issues as needed..

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align product sourcing efforts with overall business goals.
Provide product recommendations based on market research and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar role, with a focus on e-commerce product sourcing.
Proficiency in using various e-commerce product sourcing apps and platforms.
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify profitable product opportunities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier interactions.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing product listings and inventory.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce is a plus.
