Ecommerce Assistant

We are looking for a passionate and experienced E-commerce assistant to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for many aspects of managing our online store, including product listings, online marketing, website maintenance. You will also play an influential role in developing and implementing our e-commerce strategy.

We sell our own branded products that we import, but also do dropship some products as well that are sold on our website. Primarily we are looking for someone highly skilled with Shopify, but also hope that the individual has knowledge about Amazon, Etsy, and general SEO best practices.

Since this is our first hire for such a role, we’d likely want to start off slow, as we do not have training documents in place (but we’d also like help with that). Over the weeks, we’d anticipate that hours would increase, as both parties become comfortable with the relationship and tasks. We’d both love it if you could eventually be working full-time together.

Below are likely the responsibilities that this role would eventually take on:

TASKS:

• Add / Edit / Optimize products on Shopify (with SEO in mind)
• Edit/Add blog posts to Shopify
• Shopify Theme maintenance
• Manage Amazon Seller Central (we only have a few products here)
• Add products to Etsy
• Photo editing (with Canva)
• Monitor Klaviyo and make recommendations
• Light Video editing
• Google Adwords monitoring and maintenance
• Website Quality Assurance
• Writing standard operating procedures
• Run, Monitor and distribute monthly/quarterly reports from various online tools
• Vaious other tasks potential related to affiliate marketing, Reddit, TikTok, Facebook, Inventory tracking, etc.

• Shopify (Advanced level)
• Canva photo editing (Advanced level)
• Google Adwords Analysis and Implementation (Intermediate)
• Youtube channel management
• HTML understanding (Intermediate level)
• Instagram/Facebook
• Video editing(Intermediate level)
• Amazon Seller Central experience
• Etsy product management
• Google Search Console (intermediate)
• Google Merchant Center (intermediate)
• Klaviyo Flows / Newsletters (Intermediate)
• Google Drive / Google Images
• SEO best practices

The below are desired skills, but not required. These areas would be a huge bonus though for potential growth in hours and responsibilities:
