Job Description:
As an Experienced Bookkeeper at Twinkling Tree, you will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with international financial standards. You’ll play a pivotal role in keeping our finances organized and transparent.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
– Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
– Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
– Support financial audits as required.
– Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial procedures.
– Utilize Xero accounting software efficiently.
– Make sure all US Sales taxes are up to date
Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (or equivalent experience).
– Professional certification (ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
– Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
– Strong proficiency in Xero accounting software is required.
– Proficiency in other accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, MYOB) is a plus.
– Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
– Experience in eCommerce bookkeeping is preferred.
– Strong English reading and writing abilities.
– Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
– Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
– Experience in eCommerce bookkeeping and managing US sales tax compliance is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Remote position.
Flexible working hours with a minimum of 30 hours and 4-5 days per week.
Hourly Rate:
$8 – $12 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).
