We are looking for an organized and creative in-house graphic designer to work with our creative team. This position is responsible for contributing to the ideation and creative development of all digital and marketing assets supporting product development, marketing campaigns, and customer experience for Hiara Extensions. From concept through production, this individual will work closely with other team members to create, execute, and roll-out high quality, impactful materials that align with the brand’s guidelines.

Below are some of the responsibilities a graphic designer is expected to assume in their position:
– Establish creative direction for the company and ability to create brand guidelines
– Propose, create, develop and execute designs and assets for digital ads, animations, emails, promos, banners, website/landing pages, social media, PR, paid advertising, packaging, product tags, presentations and other graphics that might be needed for marketing and promotions
– Ensure brand standards are consistent across all assets (inclusive of font, style, composition, colors, etc.). This includes ensuring consistency in designs and content across all company platforms.
– Manage high volume of projects with high quality design aesthetic and ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product
– Collaboratively manage the organization of assets from image library, to working files, to final delivery format for key stakeholders.
– Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces
– Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
– Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.
– Collaborating with other teams to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting usability and website standards.
– Researching and reviewing product positioning and online marketing content to identify room for improvement.
– Understand target audience and apply design strategy to layouts
– Post-produce, retouch, color correct, resize, clip, and quality control management of all product and ads photography.
– Produce wireframes, designs, layout and typography according to digital best-practices and transforming wireframes into intuitive user interfaces.
– Drive & optimize creative strategy of the social commerce programs, based on testing & learning, user behavior, & feature developments.
– Partner closely with ecommerce and other teams to communicate & deliver on creative needs, including feedback & approvals, in a timely & steadfast fashion while ensuring brand consistency
– Familiarity with other areas of digital design landscape, including research, strategy, storytelling, visual design and data visualization is required
– Efficiency and speed, as team is consistently working under deadlines
Expectations
– You are an expert in using Adobe Creative Cloud for InDesign, Illustrator, Figma and Photoshop. Experience with motion graphics and multimedia software is a plus.
– You understand the principles of design, what makes a piece of visual communication effective and how to problem solve to achieve an outcome that delights while achieving or exceeding the business objective.
– You are a resourceful, entrepreneurial spirit who is energetic, creative, positive, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
– Knowledge and implementation of best practices to produce consumer packaging, merchandising displays, digital assets and corporate communication materials.

– Ability to personally manage multiple projects/tasks without sacrificing quality or attention to detail

– You are someone with a good understand of digital/ecommerce design standards who with prior e-commerce experience

– You have an eye for design, clean & minimalist aesthetic, and a strong interest in fashion, Marketing and user experience.
– You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can showcase both your incredible attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and create efficient processes for creative design.
– An entrepreneurial attitude and a deep sense of ownership and pride in everything that you do
– Demonstrated experience design principles, typography, user interfaces, web standards and usability
– Strong photo retouching skills
– Organized, professional, team-oriented, and highly motivated self-starter
