We’re looking for an experienced Ecommerce operator and team leader for a growing online beauty brand, who can help streamline operations, implement new technology (e.g. apps for shopify), research growth opportunities, manage inventory/logistics, and effectively lead a team of VA’s. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and proactive Ecommerce Operations and Growth Assistant to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Ecommerce Operations and Growth Assistant to support our day-to-day ecommerce operations and contribute to our growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and has a strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and digital marketing strategies. This role will work closely with the founder and other team members to optimize processes, drive sales, and enhance the overall customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations:
– Communicate with logistic vendors (such as DHL, and negotiate a good price)
– Look for different 3PL vendors in Australia + US
– Inventory management (stay up to date on low stock)
– Update the website when we have sales on
– Resolve any technical issues (using google search) – no coding required
– Process payments for invoices & assist with accounting where required
– Monitor and analyse ecommerce performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and optimise the ecommerce platform for improved performance.
– Communicate with our manufacturer regarding any issues or requests that we have.
– Look for ways to improve our customer service and customer satisfaction by analysing our customer service report and finding solutions to problems
Growth:
– Take sales calls and see what new tech stacks we can implement into the business (such as a new subscription platform etc.)
– Do website audits to see how we can improve conversion
– Compile and analyze ecommerce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
– Prepare regular reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to inform decision-making.
– Assist in developing strategies to optimise conversion, increase customer retention, and maximise lifetime value.
– Research the process of launching our brand into the US
Team management:
– Coordinate with our customer service representative and other team members to implement new initiatives
