About the role
This is a permanent work-from-home position at a fast-growing e-commerce company. We are searching for a tech-savvy logistics and supply chain associate with a keen-eye for detail. The Associate’s duties will include servicing as a liaison between the Purchasing and Logistics team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to our Logistics team with 3PL tasks. You should have stellar communication skills and display a high degree of cultural sensitivity to fill this role.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify potential issues in the supply chain, and have a good ability to read people. You are able to juggle multiple responsibilities at once and make important decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $1,000 – $1,200 a month (depending on experience)
Day to day Duties and Responsibilities:
– Ensure that the Asana Board for 3PLs are up-to-date.
– Communicates with the 3PL warehouses regarding shipment deliveries.
– Provide needed documents, such as BOL and POD, to the Reconciliation team, if necessary.
– Ensure that LTL shipments have BOLs.
– Understand e-commerce supply chain and logistics operations.
– Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
– Maintain supply chain shipping records.
– Attending and contributing to meetings with staff and other stakeholders.
– Other ad hoc tasks.
– Experience and Qualities we look for:
– Able to demonstrate with 2 to 4 years experience in retail and supply chain.
– Able to demonstrate with 2 to 4 years administrative experience in logistics, shipping, and warehouse operations.
– Previous experience as Logistics Associate or Warehouse Associate is preferred.
– Proactive and driving tasks to completion.
– You are hungry to learn, work, make changes and improve.
– Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
– Strong analytical skills.
– Able to demonstrate that you can be highly organized.
– Proactive and able to work with little supervision.

– An excellent written and verbal communicator in the English language.
– Experience with Google Sheet and MS Excel (Intermediate level).
– Able to work in the Eastern Standard Time Zone (UTC-05:00)
– Set up to work from home with a stable internet connection and quiet area for meetings.
Desired Education Background:
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Customs Administration, and other related courses
Bonus Points:
– Experience with e-commerce e.g., Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Etsy, Shopify, etc.
– Familiarity with US-based suppliers, warehouses, logistics, and shipping carriers e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.
