Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Paid Ad Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about performance marketing and data, with proven experience developing, implementing, and managing performance marketing campaigns. A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing PPC campaigns, preferably in an eCommerce environment, is required.

Key tasks of this role:

Manage all aspects of our customer acquisition programme, using paid media to build the Bushbuck brand as well as attract and convert customers
Report daily performance metrics, and recommend changes to tactics and campaigns as required
Support website optimisation and UX
Manage media spend within agreed parameters and budget
Provide customer and competitor insights to support the development of new sales tactics
Be an enthusiastic and active contributor to the team

Required skills & responsibilities:

Highly proficient in Google Ads, Google Analytics (GAIQ certification is a bonus), Google Merchant Centre and Google Search Console.
Experienced in Meta Business Suite, Facebook Ads Manager and TikTok Business Centre with a deep understanding of the ad units across these platforms.
Highly experienced in setting up digital campaign tracking – UTM tagging, Google Tag Manager etc. POAS, ROAS, CAC, AOV, CVR, CPM, SOV, these acronyms are second nature.
Demonstrated ability to perform ongoing testing and optimisation of campaign structures, ad units, creative, audience segments, product feeds, and landing pages using best practice testing frameworks.
A track record of building live dashboards and delivering insightful, performance reports using tools like Looker Studio, Geckoboard, Mixpanel, etc
Effectively manage budgets and allocate media spend across channels/campaigns to deliver business objectives.
Always up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, ad units and best practices to ensure Bushbuck remains at the forefront of digital marketing.
Ideally have experience with Contentful and Shopify
Good understanding of User Experience (UX) and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) .
