Job Description

Position Overview:
Identify the demand for materials, source them at the best price, get approval to order them as needed, purchase them, track their shipment, ensure they arrive, log all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Sourcing
– Identify and source new products for the e-commerce platform based on market trends, customer demand, and competitive analysis.
– Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions that align with the company’s goals and budget.
2. Inventory Management:
– Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet customer demands without overstocking.
– Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate the timely delivery of products and manage stock replenishment.
3. Vendor Management:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers/vendors.
– Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with agreements.
4. Purchase Order Processing:
– Generate purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
– Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and approvals are obtained for each purchase.
5. Market Research and Analysis:
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging products to make informed purchasing decisions.
– Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product assortment enhancement.
6. Cost Management:
– Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining product quality and availability.
– Evaluate and compare supplier pricing to ensure competitive advantage.
7. Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and vendor performance for management review.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
– At least 1-2 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within an e-commerce or retail environment.
– Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective vendor relationships.
– Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Proficient in using e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– able to work Mon-Fri 9am-5pm EST (10pm-6am Manila Time)
