About the Role: The E-commerce Sales Assistant will be responsible for guiding the company’s online store, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and third-party entities such as customer service and logistics. This comprehensive role covers every aspect of the E-commerce business, from planning to content strategy, promotions, campaigns, online marketing, merchandising, website analysis, and customer service enhancement, all with the goal of increasing sales.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
Category Strategy: Development and execution of strategic initiatives within product categories.
Sales and Promotions: Managing sales strategies, including promotions and campaigns.
Product Ranging and Merchandising: Selection and presentation of products, including stock management.
Product Pricing and Margin: Ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
Customer Focus: Keeping our customers happy by promoting an excellent range of home products at attractive prices and continually updating the product line.
Key Skills Required
The successful candidate must have:
A desire to excel and achieve.
Strong negotiation skills.
Passion for home products.
Deep understanding of online shopping (online sales experience preferred).
Excellent merchandising & marketing skills.
Professional attitude and personal presentation.
High level of computer literacy.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with parallel product import would be advantageous.
A marketing degree would be beneficial.
A deep understanding and experience of SEO.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in product/category management.
Profound understanding of the Shopify system, both front end and back end.
Experience in managing inventory through adjustment of listing improvements or pricing strategies.
