Role Overview:

The SEO Manager will work on improving the Liquor Loot eCommerce site with technical and content goals; you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to Liquor Loots’ global SEO strategy from ideation to execution and work closely with cross-functional teams to rally towards ambitious growth goals.

What you’ll do:

Own the creation and prioritisation of the international SEO roadmap, as well as seeking alignment and buy-in with internal stakeholders
Set clear international SEO goals, KPIs and requirements to define and measure what success looks like
Educate and evangelise SEO, so everyone is across SEO best practices across the business
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and algorithms changes to inform SEO strategies and tactics and identify new growth opportunities
Cost-effectively scale and grow the local SEO team as needed, and employ AI technology to optimise and streamline workflows.
Scale and improve existing workflows and processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency
Conduct keyword research and identify high-value keywords to target in order to drive more organic traffic to the website.
Optimizing the website’s technical infrastructure to improve its visibility and ranking in search engines, including tasks such as improving website structure, optimizing page speed, and ensuring that the website is mobile-friendly.
Optimizing product pages, category pages, and other key pages on the website for search engines, including tasks such as creating meta tags, alt tags, and other on-page elements.
Monitoring the website’s performance in search engines, including tracking key metrics such as organic traffic and search engine rankings and making data-driven recommendations for changes to the website and overall SEO strategy.
Collaborating with other teams within the company, such as marketing, product, and design, to ensure that the website’s content and design are optimized for search engines and user experience.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices in SEO and regularly testing new tactics and strategies to improve the website’s visibility and performance in search engines.

Required experience:

5+ years of in-house or agency experience in SEO, with a proven track record of growing organic traffic and search engine rankings.
Experience with multinational eCommerce sites is a bonus.
Experience managing an SEO team
Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Dragon Metrics, Screamingfrog, and Deepcrawl.
