The eCommerce Specialist will report to a GymDesk Project Manager and Client.

Job Overview
As an eCommerce specialist, you are an expert in online sales strategies and the various platforms used to conduct digital sales or conversions on a website. Your responsibilities include monitoring the site’s day-to-day activity and overall performance to achieve goals like improving user experience, increasing website traffic and sales, and developing brand loyalty. You will work cross-departmentally to optimize eCommerce strategies and analyze where there is room for improvement. You keep a promotions calendar, track all eCommerce marketing efforts, analyze data, and use your findings to improve your strategies. Workshift in US Pacific Time

Responsibilities and Duties
Develop, monitor, write, and update product content on eCommerce websites/portals.
Manage our online and warehouse inventory.
Develop subject matter expertise in assigned product categories and take ownership of daily business administration on posted accounts.
Cultivate standards, systems, and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, and new product listings.
Work with product management, sales, graphics, and other relevant departments to provide updated content for assigned accounts to be shared across eCommerce platforms.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of account-specific SEO best practices, pricing policies, media assets, inventory, and/or pre-orders.
Multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail.
Possess a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends.
Use Spreadsheets or Excel in addition to web analytics to stay organized monitor changes in product sales, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years experience in a fast-paced, eCommerce business.
Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining eCommerce websites/portals.
Knowledgeable of the eCommerce space that includes marketing strategies, various leading eCommerce website builders (e.g. Shopify, Amazon), product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends, and usability best practices.
Knowledge of various platforms and online sales strategies can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions.
Familiarity with web design and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. (recurrent reporting and acknowledgments)
Analytical and multitasking skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Competency in Microsoft and Google suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
Ability to work on tight deadlines
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)

Shift
Official work shift 8 am-5 pm PST (flexibility available depending on workload or department)
Onboarding and training 8 am-12 pm PST
