We are an e-commerce company specializing in the sale of lingerie through a model-free website using the WooCommerce platform. We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Store Manager to join our team. This is a remote position that requires excellent skills in WooCommerce, Social Media management, writing, inventory management, and customer service.
The roles will fall into the following categories:
1) Social Media
Posting and monitoring, including setting up a Facebook/Meta business page. We plan to use Meta, Instagram, Pinterest and, in the near future, YouTube.
This will be a daily task (~1 hr per day)
Social media management experience is a must.
2) WordPress/WooCommerce Store and blog management
You will be in charge of adding, editing, and managing our products on our WP site. We use Elementor, so experience with Elementor or willingness to learn how to use it is required.
Your primary focus will be on importing products and creating compelling product pages using existing templates. You will play a crucial role in driving sales, improving customer experience, and ensuring the smooth experience of our online store. You will maintain accurate product descriptions, pricing, and inventory levels.
While our site will be model-free, researching and identifying high-quality products suitable for our store will require visiting sites that include models.
While clocked in, you will also be asked to assist in live chat customer service needs.
Preferred skill-set:
Experience in optimizing product pages for search engine visibility and conversion rate optimization.
3) Email Marketing and Management:
You will be responsible for creating, sending, and responding to emails both on the marketing and customer service side. We are using Omnisend, so experience with Omnisend or willingness to learn how to use it is required.
Requirements:
Proficient in using the WooCommerce platform and its various features.
Excellent English writing skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proven experience in e-commerce is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Expected Pay and Hours
Depending on experience, we are willing to offer at least $4.25 per hour. As we are just starting out, we will include monthly bonuses based on sales.
While this may only be a part-time position at the start (2-4 hours per day), we will need additional help prior to our launch date in mid-January and hopefully after launch date once orders start coming in.
