Job Description

We’re a highly-collaborative, energetic, and fast-paced e-commerce business of excellent humans looking for experienced, dedicated, and passionate Post-Production Video Editors. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of something bigger than themselves and bring positivity, curiosity, and good energy.

This is a very critical role and we take this position very seriously. Not only will you edit videos inside of Premier Pro, but also source raw clips and B-Roll from Competitors + open source files, so we can create new videos with new content from the content that you sourced. The direction is something we will provide, meaning the Creative Strategy.

Pre-Requirements:

You will need to send us your portfolio. Mind that you apply for a video editor role inside of an ecommerce company. We don’t want to see any portfolios for coaching, longform, shortform, etc. We just want ecommerce examples. If your application will not have a portfolio with ecommerce examples, so examples of ads for Facebook/TikTok, etc., your application will be disregarded.

Tasks:
– You cut short, crisp social media ads that fit perfectly into the TikTok & Instagram feed and stay in the memory while also selling – “It’s not creative unless it sells”.
– You are able to source B-Roll on your own by using tools such as Minea, PipiAds, Facebook AdLibrary, etc.
– You get 1a UGC (User Generated Content) from creators, which has been previously checked for various quality features (sound quality, image quality, etc.) and cut a wide variety of ads that sell! Since we test a lot, you cut about 50 ads a week.
– You support the conception of the briefings with creative input, but you are not afraid to analyze the performance data of our creatives. You will of course receive guidance from our performance marketers and the necessary tools.
– You are constantly on the lookout for new trends on TikTok and Instagram and browse through the advertising libraries of other cool brands for your daily portion of creative input!

Requirements:
– You love working in the Adobe Suite, especially with Premiere Pro you are very experienced and really enjoy editing in collaboration with a small project team. At the same time, you are very familiar with the structure of UGC Ads and know what is important If that’s the case, then the post-production video editor position could definitely be something for you.
– 2+ Years experience as a Video Editor
– Must have experience with eCommerce/Dropshipping Brands
– Managed a team of graphic designers & Video Editors
– Strong copywriting/communication skills
– Great knowledge of Social Media (Mainly for Facebook Ads & TikTok Ads)
– Adept with tools such as Slack, ClickUp, Gdrive, Adobe Creative Cloud, Air, etc.
– You must be a very creative yet data-centric person and must be able to act based on data
