Ecommerce Virtual Assistant – Product Management, Marketing & More

For our second online drop shipping store Click to view, which is right now build around home decor tailored to each favorite aesthetic, we are looking for an All-round Ecommerce Manager who is responsible for maintaining the shop generally & the product listing, creating new product listings and additionally to that doing minor influencer marketing tasks and if the work-load is allowing it, also minor social media management.

Since you are working closely with the company owner and through the intensive guidance and teaching you’re receiving the position is giving you the chance to look into and learn different areas of Ecommerce making you over time an expert in all of these areas. Right now the store’s volume is rather small and together with the company owner you goal is to to bring this store to high 6 figures or even up to 7 figures. Therefore we are looking for a highly motivated individual who has the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

– Right now the store is built around home decor, but we are planning to integrate fashion very soon and therefore a good sense of fashion in relation to aesthetics is needed.
!- important! We are searching for someone who is familiar with the different types of TikTok / Tumblr aesthetics (Coquette, Cottagecore, Dark Academia etc.) and has an eye for recognizing key items, patterns and designs within each aesthetic.
– Strong organizational skills: The position is an allround position and therefore you’re going to have tasks from all kinds of fields where you will need strong organizational skills to plan accordingly and meet due dates.
– Picture perfect communication skills: Active, clear and throughout communication are mandatory to working in a total remote environment. This extends to possessing strong written and verbal sales skills.
– Being a proactive innovator: Transparency, a look for “what can be done better?” and having the proactiveness to pitch ideas and suggestions are key traits of your personality
– Around 2 years of experience in ecommerce fields are necessary to cope with the expectations we’re having. In the best case with WooCommerce + WordPress or alternatively with Shopify and in relation to dropshipping.

Responsibilities:

– Updating the website with recent images, ensuring everything is looking correct and up to date
– Creating & updating product listings, ensuring availability of all products, uploading/updating images, descriptions and more
– Management of minor influencer marketing campaigns and social media management
– Keeping everything organized using Asana and staying in communication using Slack

Nice to have:

– Design skills: You don’t need to be a design expert, but getting the hang of our corporate design and applying this to your own designs within Canva would be a great asset
– First touchpoints in influencer marketing: While this is currently a small part it would be great to have first experience in this area
– First touchpoints in managing social media accounts
– First touchpoints in Email marketing: Created Email flows or managed and created first newsletter campaigns, in the best case within Klaviyo

Additional information

– Working times: 8 hours per day Monday – Friday. 4 hours of your day have to be rendered between 2PM-6PM (core working hours) and the remaining 4 hours of the day are upon your own preferred schedule in accordance with the management.
