eCommerce Web Designer

We are looking for an expert eCommerce web designer to help design new stores, upgrade the design of existing stores, as well as make design enhancements to our agency’s custom Shopify theme.

Please read the requirements below:

Necessary Skills:
– Advanced written english (conversational)
– Advanced spoken english
– The ability to be on Zoom calls with video
– Solid understanding of eCommerce (Shopify) & eCommerce advertising

Technical Skillset:
– Sharp design skills
– Experience with eCommerce design
– Understands typography within design (headings, buttons, paragraph type etc.)
– Understands brand consistency (colours, fonts, design style etc.)
– Knowledge of Shopify platform
– Knowledge of WordPress platform
– Experience with UX/UI design systems
– Experience with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
– Experience with Figma (All web designs will be created in Figma)
– Experience with project management tools (Monday, Asana, ClickUp)

Necessary Software knowledge:
– ClickUp (project management)
– Slack (communication)
– Figma (design)

Expectations:
– You must be available for communication on Slack when signed in
– Working hours are in EST (Flexible schedule 1/2 EST, 1/2 your time zone may be available)
– Must be able to follow directions and tasks clearly, without multiple revisions to finish tasks
– You work well in a team environment and understand basic workflows to collaborate on Shopify theme development.
– You are able to multi-task and balance working on multiple projects and smaller tasks within the same shift.
– Reliable, timely, trustworthy
– Able to learn quickly
– Proactive- ability to take initiative in troubleshooting, learning new skills
– Seeks a work-money balance- mission oriented
– Asks questions, is curious by nature, respectful in their inquisition
– Self motivated, actively self-developing, and even propose company development assistance
