Editor for Videos and Podcasts

We are looking for a skilled and creative editor for ongoing video and podcast projects.

Status: Part-Time to transition to Full-Time
Schedule: Mon-Fri 10:00 PM – 02:00 AM PHT or 8:00 am-12:00 pm CST
Compensation: $10-$20/hr, commensurate with experience

For videos, the work will be posted to social media. We will provide the raw files and would like them edited into different lengths. One length will be shorts for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

Here is an example of the quality and type of videos we are looking for:

We will provide details, but the range for the shorts will be 60-180 seconds.

We would also like a long-form video of up to 20 minutes. You would need to find the graphics and add them to the video.

The longer video should be edited into a podcast with music we will be providing at the beginning and the end. We plan to upload the same content as an audio-only podcast on platforms like Apple or Spotify. There will also be announcements in the middle. We will provide all the material for this.

The ideal candidate will be able to edit and enhance raw footage to produce high-quality final products that meet our needs. They will be able to work independently, manage their time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Edit and enhance raw footage to create high-quality videos and podcasts.

Collaborate with the content team to ensure that the final product meets our needs.

Create and incorporate graphics and animations as needed.

Manage the post-production process, including color grading, sound mixing, and final export.

Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:
Maintain and organize project files and assets.
Proven experience as a video and podcast editor.
Proficient in video and audio editing software.
Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong collaboration skills.
Willingness to work on Graveyard PH Shift
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A portfolio of previous work is required.

It would be a huge plus if you could also do video thumbnails.

The frequency will be at least five short videos per week and two long-form videos and podcasts per week.

Would be ideal to build a long-term relationship moving into full-time.
