Telent Bridging is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Drafter to join our dynamic team. Telent
Bridging is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions for critical infrastructure and
telecommunications networks. As an Electrical Drafter at Telent Bridging, you will play a crucial
role in the design and development of electrical systems for our cutting-edge projects.
Responsibilities:
? Collaborate with engineering teams to create detailed electrical drawings, schematics,
and diagrams for infrastructure and telecommunications projects.
? Utilize industry-standard computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate
and high-quality electrical designs.
? Interpret technical specifications and project requirements to develop comprehensive
electrical plans and layouts.
? Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations in all
electrical designs.
? Reviewand revise drawings to incorporate feedback from engineers, project managers,
and clients.
? Generate bills of materials (BOM) and other documentation to support procurement and
construction activities.
? Provide technical support and assistance to project teams during the design,
construction, and commissioning phases.
? Stayupdated on advancements in electrical design technology, software tools, and
industry best practices.
? Participate in design reviews, meetings, and collaborative discussions to optimize project
outcomes.
? Maintain organized documentation and records of electrical designs and revisions.
Requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a
related field.
? Proven experience as an Electrical Drafter or similar role in electrical design and
drafting, preferably in the telecommunications or infrastructure sector.
? Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or
SolidWorks Electrical.
? Strong understanding of electrical principles, including wiring, circuitry, power
distribution, and grounding.
? Familiarity with telecommunications systems, network infrastructure, and equipment is
desirable.
? Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and comprehensive electrical
drawings.
? Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate
effectively in a team environment.
? Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
? Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues during the
design process.
