Our team is looking for a highly-experienced Electronic Gates Customer Solutions Specialist!

Shift Schedule:
9:00am – 5:00pm EST initially, then 8:00am – 4:00pm EST after training. No official lunch hour but breaks allowed during downtimes and between tasks.

The experience we are looking for:
– Someone familiar with electronic security, access control, video surveillance, Automatic Gates but also construction and different parts. Knowing what motors or circuit boards or limit switches or network switches or safety photo eyes or conduit and wiring and boxes or other similar trades. I think someone who has done similar work for HVAC or Electrical or Construction type industries would pickup things quickly.
– Good with email, phones, clear communication.
We don’t need a “Sales person”. We need a person who can help provide the most appropriate solution to our customers. We are looking for a “Solutions Designer”. Our sales efforts are NOT all about getting a sale. It is about having good valuable relationships with our customers and knowing we can help them solve their problems.

Job Responsibilities:
Optsy and Zuper CRM Data Entry and Database Updates:
– Calling all our customers and getting updated records such as property manager, emails, phone numbers, etc.
– Uploading photos and data into the parts and services section.
– Sorting/Cleaning data and removing duplicates in the parts list.
– Updating pricing.

Sales Related:
– Generating Follow up proposals from the technician notes and photos in Evernote and creating new proposals Optsy. If the technician did not add enough detail or if there are questions, communicating with our tech to get the rest of the details. Maybe something needs to be researched or figured out that they did not have time to do on site but we can do in the back office.
– Initially, I will review all follow up proposals before they are sent to the customer but eventually, sending them out and communicating with the customer on next steps.
– Getting updated pricing for parts for follow up proposals.
– Following up on estimates sent, emailing and calling customers to see if they have questions.

Answering the Sales Line:
– Eventually handle all follow up proposals
– Take all new over the counter type sales request, generate new proposals.
– Prequalify leads, get photos and write retrofit proposals.
– Develop plans for permits or do system designs on paper or even ipvm calculator
– Lots of random stuff like reach out to vendors and get info or parts.
– Manage the sales email

Creative Related:
– Making YouTube videos or training videos
– Creating customer training manuals
– Making invisible intercom signs and instructions
– Making instructions or logo stuff
– Marketing and other social media items
