Job Description:
We are seeking a talented WordPress Web Designer with Elementor skills to join our design & development team in building small business websites. You have a great track record and portfolio already established of building stunning websites in Elementor. About 50% of your time will be spent in Web Design, 30% in Development/Technical, and 20% in administrative tasks related to WordPress web design. You’ll be working directly with clients in our Helpdesk, so proven customer service and communication skills are a must.

This is a long-term opportunity to work with a 23 year old web design agency.

You need to have an eye for design and have already established the skills to produce beautiful design work for small business websites and can handle publishing and working with Elementor well to be good at this job.

You must have great organizational skills and decision making abilities. As you will be working with our US design team, you need to have excellent English writing, spelling, and punctuation is a must since you will be working in customer websites.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of UX/UI and/or web design experience with an excellent eye for design. Stunning websites with true creative design skills are what we are seeking. We work with established best practices and SOPs with various plugins and integrations. Some administrative work will be needed such as helping improve or create new SOPs, modifying existing workflows, auditing websites and emailing clients. You will become a part of our Design & Development team to support the clients vision in building website designs and redesigns on an ongoing basis.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of full-time professional WordPress Web Design experience
• Extremely proficient in Elementor. We use this on every website.
• Experience building complex WordPress websites that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Demonstrated Graphic Design skills and proficiency in Photoshop, Canva or other editing tools.
• In-depth understanding of the web design process and UI principals (design, development and deployment)
• Good understanding of cross-platform, cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Strong knowledge of Fluid/Responsive Design
• Proficient working in Google Workspace, especially with Sheets and Docs.
• Experience working in Trello for Project Management
• Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques and technologies
• Good and comfortable with end user communications

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create New or Redesign WordPress website designs to the design specifications along with our Design & Development team.
• Work with Stye Guides to produce additional graphic elements where needed.
• Help QA deployed websites to prevent quality assurance issues.
• Create, manage, and follow detailed SOPs for best practices.
• Help troubleshoot Plugin or or WordPress related website issues as they come up.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
