Elementor WordPress Specialist With Coding Experience

We are a New Zealand-based Digital Marketing agency seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Expert with expertise in WCFM, Elementor, and coding to join our team. We are looking to hire an independent contractor for a full-time role amenable to work within NZ time zone or overlaps within the NZ business hours (7am to 4pm). As a WordPress Expert, you will play a crucial role in developing, customising, and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients. Your primary focus will be on leveraging your strong coding skills to implement complex functionalities, optimise performance, and deliver high-quality WordPress solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with WCFM and Elementor, possess advanced coding abilities, and be well-versed in managing WordPress websites on the Cloudways platform.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and customise WordPress websites using WCFM and Elementor, ensuring seamless integration of desired features, functionalities, and designs.
2. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement complex customizations, plugins, and themes, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
3. Collaborates to translate design mockups into fully functional WordPress websites, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation and responsive design and to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
4. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to identify and fix any bugs, compatibility issues, or performance bottlenecks, optimising website speed and user experience.
5. Perform ongoing website maintenance, including updates, backups, and security enhancements, to ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of WordPress websites.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress, plugins, themes, and server configurations, employing a systematic and analytical approach.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in WordPress development and coding, actively seeking opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
a. Proven work experience as a WordPress Expert, with a strong emphasis on coding and development.
b. Solid experience working with WCFM and Elementor, including customizations and integration of additional functionalities.
c. Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code is a plus
d. In-depth understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and security best practices.
e. Experience with server management on the Cloudways platform is a plus.
f. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
g. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
h. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
e. Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in WordPress development.
