Job Description:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled Video Editor with a proven track record in editing long-format videos, creating engaging ads, and producing captivating content for YouTube.
As a Video Editor, you will play a vital role in our team by bringing your expertise in video editing, thumbnail creation, and a deep understanding of various platforms. We are looking for a candidate who possesses exceptional communication skills, has a keen eye for detail, and is dedicated to delivering high-quality video content.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and objectives
Edit and assemble raw footage, utilizing b-roll, VFX, and sound effects to create captivating reels
Ensure video content is aligned with brand guidelines and objectives
Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in video editing for social media platforms
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
Continuously strive to improve editing skills and stay informed about advancements in editing techniques and technologies
Daily communication and update about work completed
Keep track of every piece of content you create
Thumbnail creation – Canva
Caption creation – Captions
Planning out Instagram feed aesthetics
Scheduling content for Instagram feeds

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Video Editor, showcasing your expertise in editing long-format videos, creating engaging ads, and producing content for YouTube
Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
Strong creative abilities and a keen eye for detail, ensuring seamless transitions, engaging visual effects, and impactful storytelling
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand and execute project requirements effectively
Deep knowledge of various social media platforms, particularly YouTube, and an understanding of the specific video requirements for each platform
Strong time management skills, enabling you to meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
A portfolio demonstrating your expertise in editing long-format videos, creating ads, and producing captivating YouTube content
Experience in thumbnail creation that grabs viewers’ attention and accurately represents the video’s content
