Email and Community Manager

The Valari is a dynamic and innovative eCommerce company specializing in unique and comfortable pillows designed primarily for gamers, readers, and crochet enthusiasts. We are dedicated to enhancing the comfort and leisure of our customers through exceptional products and personalized marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage email flows and campaigns for our customer database of 25K on Klaviyo.
Create, improve, and iterate on email flows and campaigns.
Send 5-8 emails per month, including periodic reminders and newsletters.
Collaborate with founders to write compelling copy for emails.
Communicate with designers to create visually appealing email templates.
Ensure emails are mobile-friendly and follow industry best practices.
Fill out marketing calendars and plan around holidays.
Identify target audiences and grow our email list.
Manage, communicate with and help grow SMS list
Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns.
Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
Upgrade email templates using graphics, personalization, and advanced features.
Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements.
Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts.
Manage and help build online communities for gamers, crochet enthusiasts, and readers.
Manage and grow existing Discord channel for gamers.
Manage relationships and interactions in Facebook groups for crochet enthusiasts and readers.
Facilitate book clubs and other community activities.
Engage with communities on Twitter and Discord.
Using Saral management software, source and identify potential influencers to partner with, aiming to find 200 new contacts per month
Send automated email flows to influencers.
Coordinate with influencers to promote our products and build brand awareness.

Minimum Requirements:
Proven work experience (4+ years) as an Email Marketing Manager or Digital Marketing Specialist.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a relevant field.
Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms.
Proficiency in marketing automation technology and content management systems.
Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics is a plus.
Familiarity with analytical and database tools.
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
