Email Copywriter for eCommerce brands

Magicianly is a growing eCommerce Email & SMS Marketing Agency in need of a full-time Email Copywriter for email & SMS marketing.
As an Email Copywriter, you’re responsible for creating and organizing all of the written content for email & SMS campaigns including subject lines, preview text, headlines, and body content. This role works closely with other email copywriters, designers, and email marketing managers.
Responsibilities include researching and brainstorming target audiences and campaign messages. Email Copywriters participate in copy discussions as well as visual content discussions.
The Email Copywriter needs to have a thorough understanding of the company’s products or services so they can properly convey the marketing messages in emails. The Email Copywriter is responsible for preparing and presenting copy ideas to applicable stakeholders, and they create and edit content until stakeholders are satisfied. He or she will have a foot in the marketing and sales world as well as the creative content world.

Non-negotiable Requirements:
– Fast Internet
– Fluent in English
– Previous Copywriting Experience
– Work mainly in CET Time Zone (Europe, approx. 7 hours earlier than PST)
– Able to work full time (8+ hours a day)
– Knowledge in marketing
– Ability to do research
– Creative
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy
– Driving the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
– Understanding different language styles that appeal to various target markets
– Developing and maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice
– Self-motivated and organized
– Be extremely creative and have expert-written and verbal communication skills
– Work well independently as well as be able to collaborate cross-departmentally and within the email team
– Be highly proficient in Google G Suite
– Have a working knowledge of basic marketing and sales techniques
– Interested to learn about Email and SMS Marketing
– Be able to work efficiently with our project management tools like Notion
