Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills. We are looking for a content specialist who is both a strong writer and communicator. This person should have a desire to work behind the scenes with a team to get things done, but also have the communication skills to work with clients to help fulfill their marketing goals. Write, review, proofread, and edit marketing content according to grammatical rules, AP Style, brand voice principles, and communication best practices for multiple marketing channels.
Develop and maintain a content calendar to consistently deliver high-quality content that supports our marketing goals.
Conduct research to stay current with industry trends to ensure relevant and competitive content.
As a content specialist at MD Lux Consulting, you will use your creativity, strategic thinking and passion to write content for websites, compose blog posts, work on presentations, contribute to email marketing efforts, write promotional copy for product sales, write scripts for a variety of videos, and much more.
You’re the type of person who likes to see a large project through from start to finish. You’re great under pressure and thrive working on tight deadlines. You’re also a natural leader. You can make your own schedule, but can be flexible to accommodate last-minute tasks. You love brainstorming and bringing creative ideas to the table.

Write content for internal marketing efforts including eblasts, case studies, presentations, and downloadables
Write promotional content for products
Participate in creative brainstorms for social media, websites, branding, and more
Because you are a great writer and a strategic thinker, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our content team to create meaningful results for our clients.
Your position will be to create content that everyone loves to read! To you, writing is both a sport and a creative outlet. As a content writer, you’ll be able to use your creativity and your knowledge of digital marketing to create results that are both effective and easy-to-digest.
Necessary Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with an emphasis in Marketing, Strategic Communication, Journalism, English, or another closely-related field
1+ year of relevant experience
Excellent writing & editing skills
Knowledge of blogging best practices from an SEO standpoint
Ability to think creatively
Ability to complete work in a timely manner
Effective time management; maximizes productivity
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under strict deadlines
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Self-starter, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take constructive criticism
Excellent verbal communication skills
