Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns to engage our target audience and drive conversions. Your expertise in email marketing strategies, automation tools, and analytics will play a crucial role in optimizing our email marketing efforts and achieving our marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Development and Execution:

Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to support marketing objectives and increase customer engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling email content, including newsletters, promotional offers, event invitations, and product updates.
Ensure emails are optimized for deliverability, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
Email Automation and Segmentation:
Implement email automation workflows using marketing automation tools to deliver targeted and personalized content to specific customer segments.
Create and maintain email subscriber segments based on demographics, behavior, and preferences.
Continuously optimize and refine segmentation strategies to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
Performance Tracking and Analysis:
Monitor and analyze email marketing performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and unsubscribe rates.
Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
Conduct A/B testing on email elements (subject lines, content, layout) to optimize campaign performance.
Email List Management:
Manage email subscriber database, ensuring data accuracy, hygiene, and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
Implement strategies to grow and nurture the email subscriber base through organic and paid acquisition channels.
Email Deliverability and Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with email marketing best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Implement email deliverability best practices to minimize spam filters and maximize inbox placement rates.
Ensure compliance with relevant email marketing regulations and privacy laws.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience (X years) in email marketing, preferably in a B2C or B2B environment.
Strong knowledge of email marketing principles, best practices, and industry trends.
Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools.
Excellent copywriting and content creation skills with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Up-to-date understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and email deliverability best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
