Brist Mfg., Bellingham, WA is seeking a full-time email marketing expert to own all aspects of a sales lead generation system, mine lead lists, run sequenced email campaigns and hand-off qualified sales prospects to account managers. This position requires advanced fluency in the English language (written and spoken.)
The sales development representative’s (SDR) primary job responsibility is to continue to develop, implement and maintain a system where new customer relationship opportunities are identified and customer interest in Brist Mfg. and Brist Mfg. products are deepened through robust outreach. The sales development rep is at the top of the sales funnel at Brist.
Essential Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain a robust email campaign system that meets the goals of Brist Mfg.’s outreach strategies.
-Create focused campaigns around core verticals (outdoor, beverage, corporate and partner).
-Build data mining strategy to generate leads around the ideal customer OVER $100K in spend per year.
-Create and implement new customer outreach processes that regularly identify new customer relationships and through documentation and robust communication efforts move from prospect status to valued customer.
-Use email campaigns, video and phone calls, trade show follow up and sampling efforts to generate leads and manage outreach for prospective clients through a final hand-off with the sales team.
-Create a new customer referral program to capture existing Brist Mfg. customer, supplier and industry referral opportunities.
-Include Brist Mfg. customers who have not ordered in 2+ years in outreach campaigns, regularly engaging to reactivate regular patterns of engagement.
-Work with marketing to create engaging resources and assets to provide relevant information about Brist products and services.
-Identify and develop strategic alignment with key influencers.
-Understand Brist Mfg. products and verticals to optimize customer opportunities, provide a baseline of information about the company.
-Turn over every rock, research new customer opportunities, watch for emerging industry/vertical trends that could open new customer conversations.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
-Utilize Pipedrive to track prospect interactions and understand the impact of lead flow on sales funnel and expected results.
-Execute weekly campaigns to ensure a consistent pattern of communication, engagement with Brist Mfg.
-Develop leads and build relationships with prospective customers through professional and persistent, ongoing contact.
-Proactively source active and passive clients through referrals, networking, internal/external databases and innovative research tactics.
-Collaborate and report progress and outcomes regularly with the sales department, company leadership.
-Apply knowledge of qualifying sales questions, basic Brist Mfg. product knowledge to help guide and facilitate conversations -and handoff of accounts to sales verticals/pods.

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or applicable major
Experience:
2+ years of sales and project management experience
Demonstrated experience building processes that produce results
Applicable experience using GMASS or similar email generation/marketing tools
