With over 30 years’ experience, our diverse, family-owned wholesale business represents 24 world leading brands originating from over 10 countries. We not only distribute these brands in the Australian market, but we also have an in-house marketing team dedicated to building brand recognition and generating demand for our products. Our team works tirelessly to increase awareness and visibility of these brands across the country through brand-based websites, social media and email marketing.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. Collaborate closely across Brand Marketing, Digital, eCommerce & Graphic design teams to create and deploy email marketing campaigns that combine creative flair with analytical rigor. Leverage existing resources as well as innovative approaches to maximise project success. Utilise data insights for ongoing optimisation of campaigns, ensuring objectives and targets are met. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

To be successful in this role you will be comfortable with handling large volumes of campaigns and marketing activities.

Must be experienced in the following:

Email marketing
Email automation
Klavyio/MailChimp
Experience with Developing Customer Journeys
Experience including strategy, data acquisition, testing, implementation, analytics and reporting.
Understanding of Marketing Functions
Experience with HTML/email development

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Own the end to end Email Marketing process, delivering campaigns to drive a strong brand tone of voice & identity
• Manage data segmentation and audience lists, to further drive personalisation amongst customer audiences
• Refine process for booking, building, scheduling and reporting email campaigns
• List growth/management, including segmentation
• Set up of automated campaign workflows/logic eg) welcome campaigns, nurture, re-engagement, cross-pollination
• Reporting across all email-metrics, such as click-through rates, presenting insights and campaign performance
• Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Digital teams to ensure content is aligned with the overall Marketing Calendar
• Conduct A/B testing for insight and learnings to ultimately improve performance of the channel
• Keep up to date with and drive best practice recommendations for email marketing
• Building and executing personalised, automated customer journeys using the marketing automation/CRM platform through email, SMS or other executions.
• Recommend improvements and efficiencies for operations.

Candidates will ideally possess the following experience and attributes:

• Demonstrated experience delivering Email Marketing campaigns, ideally within the Retail industry
• Wider Graphic Design experience and knowledge of InDesign or Canva would be highly advantageous
• Strong reporting experience, with the ability to present insights to wider, internal teams
• Proven experience in growing and developing loyalty program initiatives and activations wit
• Advanced skill and experience across analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics and the ability to translate data into actionable insight.
