Email Marketing Strategist

We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist for our team to help execute marketing strategy, create customer segments, coordinate and send email campaigns & automations, conduct A/B testing and analyze performance.

Roles & Responsibilities
Work directly with clients leading and owning their email & acquisition strategy and execution
Client communication via weekly calls and and monthly strategy & reporting meeting
Manage daily operations of the email marketing channel – marketing calendar, strategy and content, build and deployment of email campaigns, as well as the A/B testing, measurement and reporting
Project management to ensure no deadlines are missed and nothing falls through the cracks
Develop strategy including monthly email calendars, new triggered sequences, and other retention & acquisition strategy
Writing campaign briefs for our design team to translate client vision into revenue-generating campaigns
Building new emails and triggers in Klaviyo and other acquisition platforms (Privy, etc)
Creating roadmaps for clients to outline marketing strategy
Analyzing client data to make recommendations for growth and report results back to clients (Monthly Report & QBRs)
Assisting in the sales process to audit new accounts and assess opportunity and creating high-level roadmaps outlining recommendations
Manage team deliver effective campaigns & strategies

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years experience email marketing for high volume eCommerce/online retail brands
2+ years experience with Klaviyo
Expertise in email best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, copy and design approaches.
Ability manage multiple projects and deadlines
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Are comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
Enjoy finding new opportunities to improve workflows and processes
Are detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Thrive and self-manage effectively in a remote work environment
Have a communication style that’s fun and approachable
Experience with Slack, Trello & Google Docs
As this is a client-facing role, some availability during PST business hours is required

You’ll get bonus points if you…
Have experience with direct response copywriting for eCommerce, including emails, product descriptions, Facebook ads, social media, etc. (please share writing samples)
Have experience with SMS and push notification channels
Have experience with Privy & Optimonk
Have experience with Shopify

This is a contract-to-hire position, starting as part-time for the first 3-6 months.
