Email & Social Media Marketing Assistant

I’m Katie – a mom to four children & the founder of a small company offering hand dyed yarn. I’m currently in search of an experienced social and email marketing assistant. This is a part-time position with potential for growth in the future.

Excellent English writing skills are foundational to this job. This is a remote work from home role and would be perfect for someone who is self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, and a great communicator.

I’m looking for help with:

• Composing a weekly email to my customers highlighting our new products & upcoming releases.
• Repurposing email content into social media posts on both Instagram and Facebook
• Creating new social media content: both feed posts and stories
• Scheduling social media content via Later
• Skills with Canva for creating social media graphics or reels is a plus but not required
• Experience creating and monitoring social media ads is a plus but not required

At a minimum, you should be prepared to write/create:
• One email newsletter per week
• Four Instagram feed posts per week
• Four Instagram stories per week
• Four Facebook feed posts per week
These deliverables will be scheduled at least one week in advance and sent automatically via my social media & email newsletter software. I will provide all photographs needed to create these posts.

In the beginning, I will provide specific directions on which products to feature but it is my hope that a well-qualified candidate will be able to make content suggestions after they become familiar with the Yarn Love brand.
