Are you a proactive, hard-working English Teacher, Virtual Assistant and Writer who LOVES the Media?

Then I want to hear from YOU!

We are in the media industry and work closely with journalists, TV producers and radio producers supporting our clients to achieve their dream media goals. Join us as our Virtual Assistant and Writer where you’ll play a key role in managing our copy for our growing Media Mentorship Program. You’ll be a key and appreciated part of the team, helping to run a highly efficient business by helping to run a highly efficient business by managing appointments, taking notes live our weekly journalist workshops and managing our client-facing communication activities.

Your weekly responsibilities would include:

1. Scheduling, coordinating appointments with journalists, podcasts and clients. Make sure appointment reminders are sent. Confirm appointments with contacts.

2. Booking all group workshops and managing and communicating responses.
3. Attending all group workshops with journalists and clients and taking notes live in each workshop. You can write fluent Eglish notes live in real time and have excellent English-listening and transcribing skills.

4. Preparing notes after each workshop for all clients.

5. Upload well-written and accurate notes into Convert Kit.

To qualify for the position, you must be a fluent and confident English speaker and you will need at least 6 years experience in the following:

1. Teaching English
2. Appointment setting and calendar management
3. Notetaking / transcribing in English
4. Virtual Assistant support
5. Copywriting

We work in the fast-paced media industry so it’s important that our Virtual Assistant has the following qualities:

1. Is a strong, regular and accurate communicator and passionate about working collaboratively.
2. High follow-through and a solution-oriented mindset, able to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and a positive attitude.
3. Passionate about doing a great job and takes pride in their work.
4. Can solve problems independently.
5. Is a proactive self-starter with close attention to detail
6. Flexible working hours and ability to work more hours per needed.

In addition to being a fluent English speaker and writer you need to be comfortable with using most of the following applications:

• Web research using search engines like Google
• Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar
• Communications apps like Zoom, Voxer, Slack, FB messenger, etc
• Email Marketing tools like Convert Kit
• Social Media Apps like Facebook and Instagram
