Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Specialist to join our team in helping entrepreneurs secure funding for their ventures. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging with entrepreneurs, developing and executing sales strategies, and ultimately selling our advisory and consulting services to assist clients in raising capital.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
• Identify and research potential entrepreneurs who are actively seeking funding for their businesses
• Utilize various channels such as online platforms, networking events, and referrals to generate leads
• Maintain an organized database of leads and track their progress through the sales pipeline
Sales Strategy Development:
• Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to effectively reach and engage with target entrepreneurs
• Create compelling value propositions and sales pitches that highlight the benefits of our services
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials
Outreach and Relationship Building:
• Initiate contact with potential clients through phone calls, emails, and social media
• Build rapport and establish trust with entrepreneurs by understanding their unique needs and challenges
• Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations to showcase our services and value proposition
Selling Services:
• Present our range of advisory and consulting services to entrepreneurs, emphasizing how we can support their fundraising efforts
• Offer tailored membership plans that provide entrepreneurs with access to our expertise and resources
• Navigate the sales process, address objections, and close deals effectively
• Collaborate with the service delivery team to ensure a smooth transition for onboarded clients
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
• Monitor and report on key sales metrics, including leads generated, conversion rates, and revenue generated
• Regularly update the CRM system with accurate client information and sales progress
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve the sales process and overall performance
Requirements:
• Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably in the B2B or professional services sector
• Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and fundraising landscape
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to think strategically and develop effective sales plans
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
