We are seeking an Entry Level Helpdesk Technician to join our team.
As a Help Desk Technician, your primary role is to provide technical support to customers using various communication channels such as email, chat, or remote desktop applications. Your primary goal is to resolve customer issues and queries promptly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Responsibilities
– Provide technical support to customers via email, chat, or remote desktop applications.
– Use ticketing systems to track and manage customer issues.
– Diagnose and troubleshoot customer problems, providing solutions or escalating issues as required.
– Configure software and hardware, including installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
– Troubleshoot network issues, including connectivity and performance issues.
– Maintain customer records and documentation, including hardware and software inventory.
– Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance.
– Communicate technical information to non-technical users in a clear and concise manner.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide the best possible support to customers.
Requirements
– A degree or diploma in computer science or a related field.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Excellent customer service skills, with a customer-centric approach.
– Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Knowledge of various operating systems, hardware, and software applications.
– Familiarity with remote desktop applications and ticketing systems.
– Experience in troubleshooting network issues and configuring hardware and software.
– A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
