Entry-level IT Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities

– Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
– Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
– Help maintain and update IT documentation and inventory records.
– Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
– Keep an eye on system performance and respond to alerts to ensure smooth operation.
– Track and manage support tickets using the company’s ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
– Continuously learn about new technologies and best practices to improve IT support and services.
– Follow and enforce company security protocols to protect data and IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist and support end-users.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Capability to work well within a team environment and contribute to collective goals.
– Strong attention to detail in managing tasks, documenting processes, and troubleshooting issues.
– Any relevant IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified, can be an added advantage.
