Entry Level Virtual Assistant (for Food and Travel Writer)

The successful candidate will have strong written English skills and be bright and hungry to learn. You must be willing to ask questions as well as self-driven to learn new skills to grow into a larger position.

You will have a variety of tasks from helping to create formulaic articles (with my voice) as well as organizing spreadsheets and data, participating in social media share threads, light photo editing, etc. The tasks will grow in complexity as you gain familiarity and confidence. In your response, please share what relevant experience you may have in these areas and why you are interested in these type of tasks.

The salary reflects an entry-level position at $2/hour for 40 hours per week. I do not expect or require vast experience, but you should have an aptitude to learn quickly and the willingness to ask questions to ensure you understand tasks and projects. I want this to be a long-term partnership where we are both happy.

I need one hour of overlap time for my Central Time workday to coordinate tasks and ask necessary questions Monday to Friday. The remaining 7 daily working hours are at your discretion.

It is critical that the person I hire is bright, enthusiastic, has solid written English, and a very strong attention to detail. You must have proficiency with Google Drive products (Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc). You will be using AI tools, though the output must not sound like an AI generated it, so please have experience with and access to AI tools. If you have experience with Canva, this is a plus. If you have experience with WordPress, this is a bonus.

I will provide full training and do not expect the candidate to have knowledge of all the programs and tasks that they will be working on. Again, the ability to grasp concepts quickly and willingness to ask questions is critical. This role will grow over time.

You must be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic and good attitude towards work.
