Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual with marketing experience to join our team as an Etsy Store Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for starting and running our Etsy store, specializing in the sale of digital products. While previous experience with Etsy is a plus, it is not essential. However, strong marketing knowledge and experience are essential to succeed in this position. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of conducting product research, optimizing listings, and collaborating with graphic designers to create compelling products.
Responsibilities:
Start and manage our Etsy store, specializing in the sale of digital products.
Conduct thorough product research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings.
Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our Etsy store and drive traffic to our listings.
Optimize product listings by crafting compelling descriptions, selecting appropriate tags and keywords, and leveraging SEO best practices.
Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing and high-quality digital products.
Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, such as conversion rates, sales, and customer feedback, to identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Etsy marketplace policies, marketing strategies, and digital product trends.
Provide regular reports and updates to the management team regarding the store’s performance, marketing initiatives, and sales projections.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in marketing, preferably in e-commerce or digital product marketing.
Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
Familiarity with Etsy marketplace and its features is a plus, but not essential.
Proficient in conducting product research and market analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with an eye for design and the ability to collaborate effectively with graphic designers.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in using digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and e-commerce platforms.
Familiarity with SEO techniques and keyword optimization.
Basic knowledge of graphic design software/tools is a plus.
Compensation:
The candidate will receive a base pay of $500 per month, with the opportunity to earn unlimited additional income through a profit-sharing structure. The profit-sharing model entitles the candidate to 10% of all profits generated by the store. The position requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.
